Definition
100 Tonson Foundation is a Thai art foundation that promotes Thai artists on a wider stage. It was founded by Ek-Anong (Aey) Phanachet in 2020 through the transformation of 100 Tonson Gallery, the first gallery from Thailand and Southeast Asia to be selected for Art Basel Switzerland (2011) and Art Basel Hong Kong (2013-2015). SUFFIX designed the foundation's website to work like an online gallery.
Objective
Create a website for 100 Tonson Foundation.
Outcome
SUFFIX designed the 100 Tonson Foundation website with art images as the visual lead. The layout is kept simple, leaving room for the concept and details behind each work. The content structure covers Exhibition, Blog, and travel information for visitors planning to come and see the work in person.

Process
How did SUFFIX design the 100 Tonson Foundation website?
Art is the heart of 100 Tonson Foundation, so SUFFIX designed the website with art images leading every page. Unnecessary elements were stripped back, leaving more room to explain the concept and details behind each piece. For text, the design stays clean and simple. Typography does not compete with the imagery but still gives complete information for general viewers and collectors who want to understand the work in depth.
Why an art website needs to lead with imagery
Art communicates primarily through image. The foundation's website needs to function like an online gallery, letting viewers experience the work before deciding to come and see it in person. SUFFIX designed images to display large and sharp, with text that explains the concept or the details placed in positions that support the image without distracting from it. The approach matches the international art-website standard that 100 Tonson Foundation has been working with since Art Basel.
Content structure built for art viewers
SUFFIX built the website around three main sections. Exhibition gathers the shows and exhibitions hosted by 100 Tonson Foundation. Blog is a space for in-depth content about art and the artists. The travel section provides essential information for anyone planning to come see the work at the gallery. The structure answers what visitors need, whether they follow the foundation's activities, are interested in Thai contemporary art, or are international visitors looking for practical information before they arrive.
