Aikchol Hospital (AHC) is the first private hospital in Chonburi, founded in 1978 and listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) in 1992. SUFFIX delivered the rebranding aligned to JCI (Joint Commission International) standards, alongside a website and online media that work for both local and international audiences.

AikcholHospital aims to rebrand according to JCI (Joint Commission International) standards and develop its website and online media.
Outcome
SUFFIX delivered the full rebrand for Aikchol Hospital, from a new logo built around the AHC abbreviation that works in both Thai and English, through to an icon and symbol system used both inside the hospital and online under the same direction, and a website that organizes content covering all the hospital's services.

Process
How did SUFFIX rebrand Aikchol Hospital?
Aikchol Hospital has been a private hospital in Chonburi for over 40 years, but the Chonburi area has changed significantly over time. Foreign investment has grown and the population of expats living in the area continues to increase steadily and consistently. A logo only in Thai could no longer communicate effectively with the new audience. Alongside that, the hospital wanted to align its brand to JCI (Joint Commission International) standards. SUFFIX started by understanding the full hospital business, including departments and clinics, specialized treatments, recovery services, and other services, so the rebrand could reflect the real scope of what the hospital offers.
Logo and symbol system designed for two languages
SUFFIX designed the new Aikchol Hospital logo using the AHC abbreviation as the main communication mark, working in both Thai and English so expats in the Chonburi area can recognize and understand the brand right away. Beyond the logo, SUFFIX also designed the structure of icons and symbols used both inside the hospital and across online media, all under the same direction and based on the structure and color of the new logo. Every brand touchpoint stays consistent, from signage inside the hospital through to online media.
A website that handles every hospital service
For the website, SUFFIX developed both the content and the content organization from scratch, to handle every part of Aikchol Hospital's services, including departments and clinics, specialized treatments, recovery services, and other supporting services. The content is structured so users can reach the information they want quickly, whether they are local or international. The website was also designed to handle storing and publishing information that changes with the situation, such as Covid-19 vaccination information during that period, so the hospital can update important information for users in real time.
